I would like to expand to other games as well, particularly games that do not have much guides on them. If you have any other suggestions on what games I can do guides for, let me know, as I'm now going to focusing on Total War Games. I know that this seems like a lot, however, it will help me to focus more on the guides for all of you and help me get them out in a quicker way. I took the last remaining settlements in Northern India. I pinned the Mughals down to nothing towards the end. I hope that Portugal does not declare war on me. Recently Portugal took over Mysore by crushing its army in one turn. Now I almost have the Mughals destroyed, however, I am still being cautious about Mysore to the south of me. Since when their land is so spread out, it makes it easier for me to conquer their towns and cities.Īfter fighting a couple of defensive battles, I had taken Gujarat and finally took Calcutta with my second army. The Mughals have not bee able to field any large armies against me. I besieged it and let my army starve out the Mughal forces. With my first army, I moved it to Malwa, then headed towards Gujarat to take out the city. I took out Berar and Orissa with my second army, all the while passing turns and quelling rebellions. I have been taking it easy and letting my armies rest. Since I destroyed this large army, which was probably their only one, I have found it easy to conquer the rest of the Mughals. Using my first army, I crushed it in the field. The Mughals have only been able to field one large army.
Eventually both of my armies will meet up and India will be conquered, however, I have to let my armies rest first. One of my armies is going to go east and take the settlements of Orissia and Calcutta, while my other army is going to push to the north west and take out the remaining armies and settlements. My plan to conquer the Mughals is very simple. I'm trying to save money and invest in my technologies, which is going to help my economy and military. With both of my armies a little stretched thin, I am staying back and resting up before my next moves against the Mughals. The Mughals have been trying to take over my ports and reduce my trade income, so I stationed a couple units in each one to prevent them from blockading me. At the same time, I got a few more trade agreements with a couple more European Powers, such as Russia and the nearby Ottoman Empire. All the while, capturing them and keeping my armies there to quell any rebellions. I then moved to the next two settlements with my same two armies. I saw that the Mughals were moving more armies, so I moved my armies out to crush them. With these two settlements under my belt, I rested up my armies and kept them stationed to keep the population happy. The Mughals are not sending any armies my way, so it was the perfect time to take the settlements and expand the Maratha Confederacy. With my opening moves completed, I moved my two armies to take out two nearby settlements.
